Rail Car Repair
Drumm, Inc. provides services such as body work, running repairs, safety valves, bottom outlet valve rebuilding, gasket replacements, coatings and lining repairs, along with others. AAR repair services are completed by registered facilities in Cincinnati and Worthington. Drumm, Inc. is in the process of registering both facilities as Class F, G, and L.
Bulk Container Cleaning
We offer cleaning services on Hopper cars, Box cars, and non-rail containers, such as ISO, Totes and soon, tanker trailers. Super-vacuum trucks are used to remove dry and wet materials from containers, such as PD-hoppers, Box cars and tanks. Removed materials can be recycled, disposed, or packaged and sent back to the customer for reuse.
Bulk Container Services
Bulk container services, such as trans-loading, material management, recycling and rail car management are offered to compliment our rail car cleaning capabilities. Customized to your specifications, products can be trans-loaded to and from rail cars, tank trucks, ISOs or other bulk containers. Bulk liquid products can be packaged and blended. Our process equipment is configured to your needs and computer controlled for quality assurance. Off-specification materials are often recoverable so that losses are minimized. We recycle many products on-site and also work with our network of recyclers and re-claimers to distribute other off-specification products promptly. Overseeing the rail car logistics, routing, maintenance and regulatory compliance can be a difficult task for operators utilizing a small fleet. We can help you manage your rail car needs in all tasks involved in the rail shipping business.
