Rail Car Repair

Running Repairs

Running repairs occasionally need to be made to keep the car moving on the railroad. We offer repairs and servicing of railings, platforms, brake equipment, and bodywork where cutting and welding are required. AAR Class F, G, and L work is available based on approvals and capabilities.

Valve Rebuilding & Gasket Replacements

Rebuilding bottom outlet valves, safety valve replacements, gasket replacements, lid gaskets and loading/unloading valve replacements are available. Gaskets and valve seat selections are based on chemical compatibility of commodities scheduled for next service. Valve rebuilding and replacement work is done in accordance with manufacturer specifications and under the quality guidelines of 49 CFR 179.7.

Coatings

We offer sand blasting, tank car center section painting, graffiti removal, stenciling, defacing, and other vessel exterior painting services. Lining repair will be made available soon and our AAR Class L Registration is being processed. Surfaces are prepared and coatings are applied in accordance with all manufacturer, owner, customer, and AAR specifications.
