Drumm Inc. is currently seeking a Railcar Cleaning Technician in Worthington, MN for the washing of tank car interiors and exteriors. The ideal person works well with others, has a good work ethic and is ready for a challenge.
General Duties:
- Manual cleaning of fittings, openings, valves, and exterior / interior tank car surfaces, including confined space entry
- Operate plant systems such as; computer controlled wash equipment, steam boiler, pressure washer, water treatment equipment, tank systems, air monitors, etc.
- Assist with rail car switching via switchmaster
Skills and Qualifications
- Good work history, reliable transportation.
- High school diploma / GED
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Very attentive to detail with quality-minded focus
- Experience in manufacturing, transportation, industrial cleaning, repair, food, feed, packing and Ag industries is helpful.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor; heat, cold, wet, humid, wind and dusty conditions
- Must use personal protective equipment as required
- Flexibility to change shifts and work weekends, as needed
